It’s a good feeling whenever we as a blogger get advertisers to be interested to buy our ad space and I for one am really glad for this opportunity. Just a few days back, I was contacted by Sebastian, you know the famous developer who creates RoomsDB.net! He said he wanted to put up ads on iZone which is a first to me and my blog and I gladly accepted it since I’m quite new to this making money while blogging phenomenon.

On how he became well known well, he did a simple thing that’s investing on marketing for his service, that’s RoomsDB.net. He’s now a featured advertiser on Advertlets.com too! Congratulations to him on that too! I’m sure he now had lots of traffic going to his site. A site that offers a free service to anyone who needs help in finding rooms to rent in Singapore. Tooltip Goodness!
Just uploaded another update to the site! I changed the way the offers are displayed. Now instead of showing the address of the room/apartment within the table, the posting date is displayed. I think that information is much more useful to the user as now it is directly obvious how old the posting is.

The good thing about it: the address information didn’t get lost. The mouse just has to be positioned over one of the rows and 500ms later a well designed tooltip will pop up with title, address and advertiser information.
