For the first time ever, a select group of Malay undergraduates and tertiary fashion students collaborate to promote and display collections of different Malay traditional dress. This will be an unarthodox fashion event, organised by students from Singapore Management University Malay Language & Cultural Club (SMU MLCC) and LASALLE Collage of The Arts.

This contemporary fashion showcase traces the evolution of the Baju Melayu and its future possibilities. Adopting a multi-disciplinary approach by infusing theatrical elements and live music accompaniment, this showcase will inspire the audience to look at this traditional subject in a different light.
