One of Southeast Asia’s most distinguished performers, Ramli Sarip’s long career has taken him from a singer with the innovative rock band Sweet Charity to a well-respected producer, composer and artist in his own right.

He has a unique stage persona. He is blessed with a voice that seems to rise from the depths of his soul; even when almost perfectly still on stage he exudes a manifest charisma. And his songs speak to a profound and mystical truth and reach across the generations. He is truly one of the greats of modern Malay and world music.
