Today I received an email from Nuffnang informing all its current members that they will be having an exclusive members program to those only has Nuffnang ads on their blogs.
After reading the email I proceed to the Glitterati site and saw this simple statement but a bold one too…
“An exclusive Nuffnang blogger is a blogger that has NO advertisements from any other ad network that originates from South East Asia on his/her blog.”
This is a bold move from Nuffnang trying to gain exclusivity in ad spaces on blogs in this region. Ultimately, it’s simply up to the publishers decision because the main question that would pop up from this would be how often will an exclusive member get ads for thier blogs?
If the rate is not much as any businessman would think its better to spread out then to stick to one. So, I would have to see what would be the reaction of other bloggers on this exclusive program.

I love my PSP, it’s not the latest PSP Slim but it’s still a PSP
I bring it almost everywhere I go. It’s with me in my MRT journeys, in the office, during meetings (ofcourse not playing it during this time) and even to the can at times! (Oppsss! To much information here!) Anyways, it’s a part of my life. So when the opportunity offered by Blog2u.SG to do a review on BAK2u GadgetTrak, an anti-theft software, I grabbed it and start pimpin up my PSP!
BAK2u GadgetTrak, what is it?
It is simply an anti-theft software by BAK2u that could be installed in any memory/storage devices that you have in your gadgets. BAK2u GadgetTrak is almost compatible to all popular memory/storage cards, harddisks, thumbdrives available in the market today.
How does BAK2u GadgetTrak works?
It helps you to track your gadgets when it’s stolen once it’s been activated hence informing you of your stolen gadget location to the precise longitude and latitude on the planet earth. It provides information like, public & internal IP addresses, location, ISP information, host name, computer name and username. Awesome isn’t it?
Ofcourse after knowing the exact location to this, you can do what you’re suppose to do, give these information to the authorities and let them do their job
I’m sure the inconsiderate individual would be suprised to see them at his/her door.
Below are some visual evidence (images) on how my PSP was tracked. Please take note that it was not really stolen, it’s just for testing purposes only haha! Here’s how the story goes… (more…)

Since yesterday, I saw lots of posts regarding Advertlets disappearing act in the internet community. Whether it be on Ping.SG or on Nuffnang’s Innit the story is all the same. Saying how unprofessional they are running about their online business. That’s the main topic from all this.
What happened to Advertlets is a simple case of human error that’s why we have machines to help us nowadays. Advertlets simply forgot when was their domain name expiry date. Why they forgot? The most simple reason will be they were too busy, this usually works. We say this usually to tell the bosses that we’re working so hard till we forget about renewing the domain.
Now another simple logical reason would be, they had moved to another host server and their previous server holds their domain name. Which means they have no complete control on renewing the domain name and in the midst of all the “buzy” situations everyone in Adverlets forgot about the previous host and the domain name registra. So, on the 3rd January 2008 when it expries, they went frantic when the site is down trying to renew the domain which was by then too late.
Whichever the scenario is, to solve the problems above humans created something that’s called a calendar, but when calendar alone was not enough they also added a reminder function to it as well as a note function too. So, if steps had been taken to put the date on a calendar, a note on who’s the registra and a reminder of about a week before expiry date to it, this “boo boo” wouldn’t had happened to them.
So are they serious about this business? Unprofessional? It’s for you to decide because its their job to deliver
Note: After this I’m sure all internet business in Singapore and Malaysia uses the calendar with reminder function on! Haha!
As for me, I had put down their ads on my blogs late last year simply because their ads loading time was too slow and the the earning part I don’t have to comment much, it’s slow too. So I gave up on them way before this had happened. So I’m just concentrating on Nuffnang and Blog2u.SG who had not disappoint me before and trying out a new ad network, GrabMyAds.
